Possibilities

The prospects of a new year can be quite exciting. Will this year be different/better/the best yet!?! It's a time of renewal, a starting over so to speak. Maybe it's just the time we release all the negativity we've been holding onto and start thinking positively. I'm not a fan of new year resolutions although every New Years Eve, I find myself committing to something at the last minute, as if I won't wake up on Jan. 1st unless I have stated my new years resolution prior to midnight. Eeek...it's 11:55....What am I going to DO this YEAR???

In that spirit, my resolution this year is to get myself organized. Whoa...isn't that just setting myself up for failure? Maybe, but organizing is something I love to do. Having an organized home and personal calendar really floats my boat. If my husband and son truly love me, won't they support me in my organizing efforts? They will surely offer their muscle and skillsets to reform the garage into a taj mahal of organized bliss....cleaning, purging, and storing like things together. Ok, so the truth is they do not share my love of organization. Shocker!! But they do love me and will help me to achieve some semblence of bliss without too much nashing of teeth.

So this year, my wish for you is success at whatever it is you wish to accomplish. Choose something you love instead of something you feel you should do but dread. And if it doesn't work out? Just start over again. No need to wait for Jan. 1st. Every day can be a day of renewal if we so choose.

 Happy New Year everyone!!

Mid Life Crisis

Welcome to my crisis. Well, maybe not a full blown crisis but a time in my life to reflect on who I am, who I want to be and what I plan to achieve for the next however many years I have left on this earth. That is a lot of I's for one sentence isn't it? Maybe I should be a narcissist. Or maybe I already am. ME ME ME ME ME!

You are invited to join me on this journey of mid life exploration. I look forward to sharing my ramblings, goals, and achievements while getting to know y'all. We'll talk soon.
